ART & COMMUNITY II: SOUTHWEST COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT CENTER
Works of art from The Art Center at the Southwest Community Enrichment Center, a human resource organization located in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia that caters to the needs of the community by providing homework help, senior support services, transportation, and an innovative, open-studio arts center run by Sister Helen David. Artists featured include Ruth Barkley, Ida May Sydnor, and other seniors and children from the Kingsessing neighborhood.
Opening reception: Friday, January 10, 5:30 - 7:00 PM

March 15 - May 2
CHARLES COOPER and JOHN HORACE STONE - PAINTINGS & SCULPTURE
A mixed media exhibition featuring two Philadelphia artists who both address issues of biography, family and history in their work.

ART OUTREACH PROGRAM - ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBITION
Works of art by students from Philadelphia's public, charter, and private schools who visit the Klein Gallery's innovative and proactive Art Outreach program throughout the school year.
Opening reception: Saturday, May 10, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

June 2 - July 2
COMFORT & JOY: CELEBRATING INTERGENERATIONAL ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT
They made friends. They made art. They made a difference in each other's lives by uniting their creative voices. They are elders from the NewCourtland Elder Services facilities and students from Philadelphia area schools. Award-winning intergenerational artwork at the Esther M. Klein Art Gallery.

Art from the "Contexts" Collection representing prisoner artwork from around the country offering a unique and poigniant view of the American prison experience
