EKG’s primary initiative explores the intersection of art, science and technology and celebrates the gallery’s affiliation with the Science Center and
its location along Philadelphia’s technology corridor.
This series is complemented by two additional initiatives:
Art-in-Community, a collaborative effort between EKG and area nonprofit organizations that use art to positively enhance the lives of their constituents; and the gallery’s Emerging Artists Series. Currently, the gallery holds six exhibitions per year, two months in duration, which fall under one of these three initiatives. Concurrent with each exhibition, the gallery offers lectures, slide talks, panel discussions, and educational Art Outreach programming to local schools and organizations. |
