The Esther M. Klein Art Gallery (EKG) is the only art gallery in Philadelphia that strives to deliver exhibits that explore connections between art, science and technology supplemented by quality programming that is free and open to the public.
Community-building partnerships with artists and professionals from the disciplines of science and technology are vital to this effort and are routinely consulted with respect to program content and design. As a result EKG schedules a diverse range of talks, lectures, panel discussions and educational workshops for the specific purpose of offering in-depth and diverse perspectives on each exhibit. EKG’s multidisciplinary approach to art exhibitions creates a bridge to appreciating and understanding new trends in creative expression and evolving modes of artistic exploration.
